Job Safety Analysis and PPE Assessment <br /> Sales Service <br /> Job Title: Job Location: Route: Rental <br /> Representative (SSR) <br /> *Drive to and from customer locations. Overview of General Routine Job Tasks <br /> *Deliver clean garments,mats,bulk products and supplies. <br /> *Pick up soiled garments,mats and bulk products. <br /> Potential Hazards <br /> Chemical Exposure(All);Customer Exposures(All);Driving(All);Heavy Metals;Environmental and Weather(animals,heat,cold,snow,rain,etc.);Fatigue; <br /> Infectious Exposure;Disease&Illness;Manual Material Handling/Ergonomics;Slips,Trips,Falls <br /> Steps to Control or Eliminate <br /> Complete all Safety Training requirements per the Learning Management System and Training Guideline. <br /> Follow any task based JSA's and SOP's as outlined in training that you are asked to participate in. <br /> Do not continue performing any task that you feel is not safe and contact your manager immediately.Report incidents to your supervisor immediately. <br /> Review Safety Data Sheets(SDS)for all chemicals that are a potential for exposure;PPE as specified must be worn while handling. <br /> Be familiar with any customer site specific safety requirements while servicing accounts and maintain compliance at all times while at the account. <br /> Full compliance with Corporate Policy 168;AUTHORIZED DRIVER SAFETY POLICY. <br /> Be aware of your surroundings. Exercise caution around insects. Do not approach animals. Back away slowly if approached by an aggressive animal. <br /> Environment:Adequate lighting,heating,cooling and ventilation is provided and maintained. <br /> Wear appropriate clothing for existing weather conditions(Jacket/long vs.short sleeves).Practice proper hydration. <br /> Fatigue:Anti-fatigue mats and adjusting stance frequently. <br /> Gloves must be worn when handling soiled products including but not limited to garments and bulk items. <br /> Care should be taken to work within the power zone at all times to reduce or eliminate unnecessary reaching,twisting and bending.Perform stretching <br /> exercises frequently throughout the day for the neck,hands,wrists and arms, <br /> All walking working surfaces shall be kept in a clean,orderly,dry sanitary condition,free from protrusions,splinters,holes and loose material at all times. <br /> Keep your footwear in good condition:soles not worn smooth;no holes,tears,separation from uppers,heels intact with adequate tread. <br /> Slow down&take small steps to keep your center of balance and never run on icy or slick surface,keep both hands free for balance,avoid carrying <br /> loads on stairways or when you change levels,or carry loads that you can not see over,keep your eyes on where you are going. <br /> Use handrails from start to finish—3 Points of Control <br /> Required . . <br /> Gloves:Designated for material handling;Shoes:Slip Resistant;Chemicals:All PPE per SIDS working with.;Customer PPE as required when onsite;Long <br /> sleeve shirts or coveralls. <br /> Recommendations <br /> Thank you for helping to continuously improve safety.Let your manager and SIC know of any recommendations you may have. <br /> This document verifies that a workplace hazard assessment had been performed for this location.The PPE defined in this Job Safety Analysis is a Mandatory <br /> Requirement unless specifically otherwise stated.I have received and will adhere to this JSA. <br /> Print Name/Signature: Date: <br /> Rental-Last Reviewed by Corporate Safety on: May 28,2020 <br />
