FREESIA AVENUE, STOCKTON Complaint#: CO2600055 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) has received a complaint alleging the following <br /> violation(s) at the above noted property. <br /> NATURE OF COMPLAINT: Trailer on the back of the property that is occupied and individuals are emptying their <br /> sewage tank directly into the ground. <br /> Please be advised that the California Health & Safety Code prohibits the discharge of sewage or other waste in <br /> any manner which will result in contamination, pollution or a nuisance. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately, cease the discharge of sewage/liquid waste on the property. <br /> Please contact the staff person indicated below to inform them of the status of the complaint allegations (valid or <br /> not valid) and any corrective actions taken, or to be taken, if applicable. <br /> Please be advised that failure to correct waste discharge violations may result in further enforcement action by <br /> the EHD. All enforcement action costs are recovered as specified below. <br /> AUTHORITY: California Health and Safety Code,Section 5411: <br /> (a) No person shall discharge sewage or other waste, or the effluent of treated sewage or other waste, in any manner which will <br /> result in contamination,pollution or a nuisance. <br /> RECOVERY OF ENFORCEMENT COSTS: Pursuant to San Joaquin County Ordinance Code Section 8-5400(a),'The County shall be <br /> reimbursed for all time,services and materials needed to abate a violation of this division."The current approved EHD hourly rate used <br /> to compute the cost of time spent to investigate,document and abate a violation is$179.00 per hour. <br /> If you have any questions, please contact the staff person indicated below at (209) 616— 3068. <br /> Steven Shih, REHS <br /> Program Coordinator <br />
