SQG HW RTC Response <br /> Violation #11 <br /> Observation 1:Waste streams did not change in hazard status post operation change. Facility originally washed shop towels(oil <br /> rags) before outsourcing. All trench water consists of water drained from washing machines and is treated in the wastewater <br /> room (using the Dissolved Air Flotation system) before discharge to the Stockton City Wastewater Collection System. The City of <br /> Stockton requires weekly wastewater analysis. Wastewater is not hazardous and according to 22 CCR 665261.49(a), Industrial <br /> Wastewater Discharge is not considered waste. Shaker debris is disposed of in the pressed sludge roll off container. Analysis(CA <br /> title 22 plus toxicity)for pit and trench grit as well as filter cake and shaker debris to determine hazardous waste status. See <br /> enclosed. <br /> Observation 2: Aquatic BioAssay Testing was conducting on pit/trench grit and filter cake/shaker debris. See enclosed. <br /> Observation 3: Custodian retrained on proper disposal. See enclosed training sheet. <br /> Violation # 12 <br /> Observation: UniFirst selected Waste Management as the corporate provider for sludge and pit grit disposals. Updated TCLP's <br /> and Aquatic BioAssay Testing were sent to Waste Management to classify waste and determine appropriate hauler and disposal <br /> site. Determination forth coming. <br /> Copies of all 4 tests are included. Weekly wastewater testing is on file with the City of Stockton. <br />
