Unless I’m looking at the wrong
SOP. If so, please clarify which SOP was being followed when it was documented that “the West condenser and piping was being evacuated and diffused to water
down the storm drain”.

During the inspection Trieu mentioned that at the time of the incident, the storm drain was not yet routed to the water treatment system. The recommendation
resulting from the incident investigation also documented to “not put ammonia diffused water down the storm drain”. This is an indication that the action taken did not
follow operating procedures.

Providing SOP training documentation for item #60 should also address this item.

Best regards,

Vicky Vang-Lee | Registered Environmental Health Specialist
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
1868 E. Tokay

Hi Vicky,

I have a question about item 57 in the report. I believe you are saying that we had in our logs that the contractor evacuated diffuser water and dumped it
down the storm drain and that this is a violation because it contradicts the procedure in SOP #116? Do I have this correct?

The drain in the ammonia system area is not a storm drain. This drain is piped to our wastewater treatment system. Please see the attached site map
from our Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan.

Does this information clear up this item? If so, we will include this information in our response.

Best regards,
Beverly

Beverly Pester Kennedy
Director, Regulatory Affairs

Corporate Office
631 N.
