MARCH LANE, STE 207 <br /> STOCKTON, CA 95219 <br /> CO2600047 —Sewage Release <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) can make the following <br /> findings regarding the sewage release at the Tower Park Village: <br /> 1) EHD was notified of the sewage release January 27, 2026 by the plant operators through <br /> Cal OES. <br /> 2) EHD responded to the notification and issued a notice to abate to the Tower Park Village, <br /> attached. <br /> 3) In the following weeks the ditch containing the sewage release was pumped out but with <br /> intermittent rain the ditch filled up again (the ditch is not draining). <br /> 4) March 30, 2026 1 received photos of the clean up process. The photos showed the area <br /> where the pipe ruptured and released sewage into the ditch has been excavated and <br /> replaced with uncontaminated soil. <br /> 5) Flooding from the rainwater may have contaminated the soil of properties adjacent to the <br /> storm ditch with sewage. <br /> Based on these findings EHD directives to disinfect the storm ditch and adjacent properties with <br /> hydrated lime, removal of contaminated soil and replacement of soil are still in effect.
