Contact the local fire district, the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, and the local <br /> community development department for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for written approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new submittals supersede previous ones. <br /> 3. Email notification to ust(cD-sjgov.org to arrange the following inspection appointments. All <br /> appointments must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance. <br /> a. Verification of overfill prevention: Measurement of drop tubes to verify 95% tank volume <br /> shut off. Ensure that all pertinent tank charts and calculations are available for review at the <br /> time of inspection. <br /> b. Verification that ball float(s), if installed, do not interfere with the installed flapper valve. <br /> The facility cannot receive fuel in the 87, 91, and Diesel tank prior to the EHD inspection and <br /> approval. <br /> 4. Any individual installing underground storage systems or components must possess, or work <br /> under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site at <br /> all times while work is being performed who possesses, all of the following: <br /> • One of several permissible valid, current contractor licenses issued by the Contractors State <br /> License Board (CSLB) <br /> • A current UST Installation/Retrofitting certificate issued by the International Code Council <br /> (ICC) <br /> 1868 E.
