All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public <br />health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual <br />OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine is 21.8ppm. Provide free chlorine 3ppm - 10ppm today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br />maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br />cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to <br />10.0 ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />This is (Major) Violation. <br />MAJOR <br /> #12 pH Level <br />OBSERVATIONS: pH is above 8. Provide pH 7.2 - 7.8. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br />This is (Major) Violation. <br />MAJOR <br /> #9 Ladders and Handrails <br />OBSERVATIONS: Both single handrails are not properly secured. Secure handrails today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: A means of entry and exit shall be provided at both the shallow and deep end of the pool. Ladders and <br />handrails shall be corrosion resistant and shall be rigidly installed. At least one handrail shall extend from the deck to not less than a <br />point above the top of the lowest step. Handrails shall be installed between 28 to 36 inches above the steps and deck. (CBC 3111B) <br />Pool operator shall keep ladders and handrails well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br />This is (Minor - Food) Violation. <br /> #36 Pressure and Vacuum Gauges <br />OBSERVATIONS: Adjustable pressure gauge installed but not properly calibrated to reflect the status of the pump filter. <br />Calibrate properly the pressure gauge after each filter cleaning / or install the effluent gauge so that you can check the <br />difference in both Influent and Effluent readings to conduct filter cleanness when needed . Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pressure and vacuum gauges shall be provided for each pump system.
