Highway 26 <br /> Stockton, CA 95215 <br /> REQUEST FOR WELL DESTRUCTION; LARRY'S AUTO, 308 N. GRANT STREET, <br /> STOCKTON, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY; LUST CASE #390170, GLOBAL ID #T0607700119 <br /> Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (Central Valley Water Board) staff <br /> prepared a public notice related to the proposed closure of the Larry's Auto petroleum <br /> underground storage tank (UST) release case at 308 N. Grant Street in Stockton (Site). <br /> Staff distributed copies of the fact sheet, in both English and Spanish, to property owners <br /> and tenants nearby to the Site and to applicable local and State agencies. The listed public <br /> comment period provided in the notice was from 7 February to 8 March 2025. Staff <br /> uploaded a copy of the notice to the Central Valley Water Board's public notice webpage <br /> and to the State's GeoTracker online environmental database. <br /> Central Valley Water Board staff received no comments during the comment period and <br /> requests that you destroy any and all remaining Site monitoring and remediation wells, <br /> decommission and remove any remaining remediation equipment, and remove any <br /> associated Site waste. San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) <br /> maintains jurisdictional authority over well destructions in San Joaquin County. Please <br /> ensure that the wells are destroyed in accordance with SJCEHD permit requirements.
