IAS-2 8 2 63 59—63 17.5 <br /> IAS-4 8 2 50 42—50 13.9 • <br /> 7.3 SHALLOW SOIL VAPOR PROBES <br /> Five(5)shallow soil vapor probes were installed to approximately 6.5 feet bgs with'/4-inch-diameter Teflon <br /> tubing encompassed by an 18-inch filter pack at the base of the probe and 5 feet of annual seal consisting <br /> of bentonite/neat cement.Due to the very small diameter of the tubing,as well as their locations primarily <br /> inside the automotive repair bays (3 of 5 probes), the soil vapor probes cannot be effectively sealed by <br /> pressure grouting or through the use of explosives. Condor proposes to seal the soil vapor probes by <br /> removing the tubing as much as practical, filling the void spaces with neat cement grout, and restoring to <br /> the ground surface with a concrete or asphalt cap, as appropriate.
