SUPPLEMENTAL SITE INVESTIGATION WORK PLAN <br /> South Pointe Property <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Scope of Work <br /> to minimize agitation of samples collected for analysis of volatile compounds. Samples will be <br /> labeled with a unique sample ID, and sample ID and collection time will be logged onto a chain <br /> of custody form. <br /> 4.4.3 Sample Handling and Analysis <br /> Soil and groundwater samples will be transported in a pre-chilled insulated cooler to a <br /> California-certified analytical laboratory under chain-of-custody protocol for chemical analysis <br /> in accordance with analyte groups listed on Tables 1 through 3, and laboratory methods <br /> identified in Appendix D. It is anticipated that samples will be shipped from the site daily during <br /> field operations. <br /> 4.4.4 Borehole Abandonment <br /> Following completion of sampling activities, each borehole will be abandoned with neat <br /> cement grout in accordance with permit requirements. <br /> 4.4.5 Decontamination <br /> To maintain quality control during drilling and sampling operations, all reusable sampling <br /> equipment will be cleaned using an Alconox or Liquinox (or equivalent) scrub solution, followed <br /> by a double rinse, first in tap water followed by a final rinse using distilled water. Sampling <br /> equipment will be decontaminated and rinsed between sample locations. <br /> 4.4.6 Management of Investigation Derived Waste <br /> Soil cuttings and decontamination fluids will be contained in steel 55-gallon drums, labeled, and <br /> left onsite pending characterization, profiling, and offsite disposal by a licensed waste hauler. <br /> 4.4.7 Quality Assurance/Quality Control Samples <br /> The following numbers and types of field quality assurance (QA) samples will be collected and <br /> submitted for laboratory analysis: <br /> QA Sample Type Frequency Detail <br /> One duplicate per 10 samples Duplicate sample to be collected by <br /> Duplicate Samples per matrix,or 1 duplicate per the same methods at the same time as <br /> sample matrix if fewer than 10 the original sample. Used to verify <br /> samples. sample and analytical reproducibility. <br /> If non-disposable sampling <br /> equipment is used,one Distilled water placed into contact with <br /> Equipment Blanks equipment blank per 20 sampling equipment.
