Review of these documents show that the facility is operating within
compliance.
2. North of the MRF, there was an area with some litter observed. This is the loading area for
the transfer trucks. It is where the transfer trucks close their tarps. Litter observed is excess
material that falls off of the truck from the process of closing the tarp. Operator noted the area
is cleaned up throughout the day as needed and at the end of the day.
3. Misters were observed turned on at the MRF. No dust was observed anywhere throughout
the facility.
4. Fly population throughout the population was very low. Low to moderate population of flies
was observed at the waste within the MRF.
5. Vegetation was an estimated height of 2.5 ft. Vegetation at the northern end (back) of
property was about 2.5 ft high. Operator noted they are still working with the maintenance
company with the vegetation. Operator noted some billing issues causing the services of the
vegetation to be delayed. Vegetation at the southern end of the property had been cut down
by CVWS employees. Noted to operator to keep the vegetation low to prevent a fire hazard as
we enter the drier months of summer.
6. Odor was very faint within the parking lot of the facility, non-perceptible On Turner Rd.
(south of the facility), and light at the MRF.
7.
