Via Casalina Parkway, Escalon 95320 and WP#0043004 <br /> The Environmental Health Department recently reviewed the records on the above address and <br /> found that a pump permit has not yet been obtained, and a water sample is still pending. The <br /> new domestic well was drilled by Castle Well Drilling on March 2, 2022, under WP0043004. <br /> ❑x Lack of pump permit, to be obtained by owner or contractor. <br /> (SJC Ord. Code, Section 9-1115.6. —Well/Pump Permit Required) <br /> Corrective Action: Complete pump permit. Permit fee is $179. Submit to 1868 E. Hazelton <br /> Ave. Stockton, CA 95205. Note: Permit Fees increase on 7/1/2026 <br /> x❑ Water Sampling needed: <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) requires well sampling as part of <br /> the permitting process for any new or replacement domestic well. San Joaquin County Well Standards <br /> section 9-9.2.1* states "To determine quality of water produced by a new water well, it shall be <br /> sampled by the EHD for bacteriological and chemical analysis after development, the installation of <br /> the well pump, and disinfection." The cost of sampling was included with the well permit issuance. <br /> Once the pump permit has been obtained, call the inspector listed below to schedule the pump inspection <br /> and water sampling for the well location of 29137 E.
