SITE-SPECIFIC HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN FOR PHASE II ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESSMENT <br /> Site Control and Safety Procedures <br /> July 7, 2023 <br /> b.0 ,i7E CONTROL AND SAFETY PROCEDURES <br /> Procedures described in this section are intended to aid Stantec personnel in mitigating site <br /> risks/hazards. Also, refer to Appendix B for client-specific safety requirements. <br /> 6.1 VIDEO CAMERAS <br /> Prior to using a camera or other electronic recording devices on this site, all on-site personnel and/or <br /> visitors will obtain approval from the Project Manager and/or Client. <br /> 6.2 DAILY PRODUCTION HEALTH AND SAFETY BRIEFINGS <br /> A safety meeting will be conducted prior to initiating site activity, and other appropriate times (each <br /> morning and change or addition of work) at the site to discuss the health and safety issues for the <br /> activities to be conducted that day. The topics of the meeting will include, at a minimum, general health <br /> and safety procedures, reviewing health and safety policies and reviewing the job hazard analyses for the <br /> tasks to be conducted. Additional safety meetings may be conducted if the scope of work changes during <br /> the day, or if other health and safety issues are identified. The RMS 2 Project Field Level Risk <br /> Assessment form will be used to document daily health and safety briefings. Blank RMS 2 forms and <br /> example meeting topics are included in Appendix C. <br /> 6.3 DRIVING <br /> • Review the Stantec Safe Driving Procedures provided on-site. <br /> • Utilize the SWP 124a -Vehicle Pre-Use Checklist at least once a day for each vehicle driven for <br /> Stantec business to identify potential vehicle issues/hazards. <br /> • A Stantec Vehicle Collision Kit will be kept in every vehicle used for Stantec project work. The <br /> Stantec Vehicle Collision Kit should include a disposable camera, small pad of paper, a pen, <br /> proof of insurance, and an RMS 3 - Incident Report. <br /> • If required, have each team member who will travel to/from the site review the site-specific SWP- <br /> 124b -Journey Management Plan (JMP) before traveling to identify routes of travel and potential <br /> driving/journey/traffic hazards. JMP(s)will be kept with each traveling employee throughout the <br /> entire course of travel. A copy of the JMP from the nearest Stantec field office is in Appendix D. <br /> 6.4 DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING <br /> Following an incident, Stantec will follow the incident reporting procedures. If appropriate, Stantec will <br /> include drug and alcohol testing, consistent with Stantec's Policies and Procedures, as well as the client's <br /> contractual requirements for testing. <br /> 5tantec <br /> 6.1 <br />
