gas borings (P-13, P-14 and P-15)were advanced at the site to five feet bsg. A report of findings was
submitted to the SJCEHD on 01 August 2008 and reported that no constituents of concern were
detected from the above soil gas samples collected at P-13, P-14 and P-15. However, residual
ethylbenzene and xylenes were detected from grab water samples collected from CPT borings P-16
and P-17 at concentrations as high as 2.9 pg/I and 46 pg/I, respectively. Based on the February 2008
findings, AGE concluded that 1,2-DCA was fully assessed both laterally and vertically for this site.
Analytical results of grab water samples and soil vapor samples are summarized in Tables 6 and 7.
Results of the February 2008 investigation were reported in Cone Penetration Testing & Vapor
Intrusion Report, dated 11 August 2008, prepared by AGE.
