Environmental Health Department <br />Telephone: (626) 575-3070 Owner/Operator: GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY INVESTMENTS LP <br />Inspection Type: Routine <br />Address: 302 W BENJAMIN HOLT DR, STOCKTON 95207 <br />Date: 06/23/2025Name of Facility:VILLAGE NORTH APARTMENTS <br />Reinspection on or after: <br />Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br />Program Element: 3611 - PUBLIC POOL/SPA - PRIMARY <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code section(s) 116043, 116040, & <br />116050. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public <br />health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> #2 Pool Enclosure <br />OBSERVATIONS: One of the rails near the entrance is missing leaving a large gap. Repair fence so that there are no gaps <br />greater than 4 inches. Correct today. Close pool area until the corrections are made and verified by this department. (REPEAT) <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool area shall be enclosed by one or more of the following: a fence, portion of a building, wall, or other <br />approved durable enclosure. Pool enclosure shall be constructed over a hard permanent material equivalent to concrete and shall be <br />installed no more than 2 inches above the finished grade. Holes, gaps, or openings in the enclosure shall not allow the passage of a <br />4-inch diameter sphere. Doors, openable windows, or gates of living quarters shall not be permitted as part of the pool enclosure. <br />(CBC 3119B) Pool operator shall keep the pool enclosure well maintained. (CCR 65535) Pool enclosure shall have a minimum <br />effective perpendicular height of 5 feet and shall be constructed so that it cannot be climbed by small children. Horizontal members <br />shall be spaced at least 48 inches apart. No planters or other climbable structures shall be permitted within 5 feet of the pool <br />enclosure or within a 5-foot arc. Chain link openings shall not be larger than 1 3/4 inches when measured horizontally. Pool <br />enclosures with a height of 4 or more feet are allowed if the enclosure was constructed prior to July 1994. (CBC 3119B) <br />This is (Major) Violation. <br />MAJOR <br /> #33 Minimum Turnover Time <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pump was off at the time of the inspection because the pump overheats . Repair or replace pump so <br />that it is in good working order and recirculation system shall have the capacity to provide complete turnover of the pool water <br />for 8 hours for pools constructed prior to 1982 and 6 hours for all other pools. Ensure that the pump is operating to completely <br />turnover the pool within the required time frame when pool is in service. Correct today. Close pool area until the corrections <br />are made and verified by this department. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Recirculation system shall have the capacity to provide a complete turnover of the pool water within the <br />following timeframes: 30 minutes for spas and spray grounds, 1 hour for wading pools, 2 hours for medical pools, 8 hours for pools <br />constructed prior to 1982, and 6 hours for all other types of public pools. (CBC 3124B) Flow rate of the recirculation system shall not fall <br />below 75 percent of the required turnover time.
