e. RENTAL RECORDS: A permittee shall keep written rental records that document the following <br /> information: <br /> 1. All dates on which the permittee rented the short-term rental to one or more guests. (Development <br /> Title Section 9-409.030[f][1]) <br /> 2. The overnight guest occupancy on each date. (Development Title Section 9-409.030[f][2]) <br /> 3. The rent paid to permittee for each night of lodging.A permittee shall provide a copy of the required <br /> rental records to the County with any application to renew the short-term rental permit or upon <br /> request, but not more than 2 times per calendar year. (Development Title Section 9-409.030[f][3]) <br /> f. SHORT-TERM RENTAL REGULATIONS: <br /> 1. A short-term rental may not be rented for more than a cumulative total of 180 days in a calendar <br /> year. (Development Title Section 9-409.030[c][3]) <br /> 2. No more than one short-term rental may be operated on a property. (Development Title Section <br /> 9-409.030[c][1]) <br /> 3. The overnight guest occupancy of a short-term rental may not exceed 2 person per bedroom, plus <br /> 2 additional persons. Children under the age of 12 are not counted towards the total number of <br /> guests. (Development Title Section 9-409.030[c][4]) <br /> g. PARKING: Off-street parking shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> 1. A short-term rental with 4 or more bedrooms for rent must include at least two off-street parking <br /> spaces available for use by guests. (Development Title Section 9-409.030[c][6]) <br /> 2. The required off-street parking spaces must be located on the same lot as the short-term rental <br /> but may be located within-the lot's setback area. (Development Title Section 9-409.030[c][7]) <br /> 3. The maximum number of guest vehicles permitted at a short-term rental is equal to the number of <br /> off-street parking spaces available for use_by guests. (Development Title Section 9-409.030[c][8]) <br /> h. PROHIBITED USES: <br /> 1. Short-Term rentals for other than lodging services. Examples include rental of pools, spas, <br /> garages, and backyards(Development Title Section 9-409.030[g][1]) <br /> 2. Special events applied for, organized by, prompted by, or otherwise involving tenants of a Short- <br /> Term Rental. Property owners are not excluded from applying for a Zoning Compliance Review <br /> for special events when the unit is not being rented as a Short-Term rental,,but the two cannot <br /> overlap. (Development Title Section 9-409.030[g][2) <br /> i. SIGNS: No sign or writing visible from the exterior of the short-term rental indicating that the dwelling <br /> unit or areas on the property is available for rent pursuant to this Chapter may be posted anywhere on <br /> the property where the short-term rental is located.
