As such,the installation of a new monitoring well for the purposes of a dewatering study <br /> O wonrap will be installed on McDonald Island. After the well is installed a series of slug tests will be <br /> conducted to evaluate the hydraulic conductivity of the saturated zone. No environmental <br /> sampling will take place in this well, it is strictly for groundwater levels and dewatering rates <br /> needed for construction. Attached with the permit is a figure of the well construction design. Exact depths of seal and screened interval will be determined in the field based on the depth of ground <br /> s <br /> water.
