Use hand auger and digging 2a. OVEREXERTION: 2a. Bend at the knees, keep back straight. Utilize the buddy <br /> bar Muscle strain,skin abrasions system if necessary. Keep load close to body. Lifting heavy <br /> while digging objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds requires the use of <br /> two people or one person with a mechanical lifting aid. <br /> Workers shall wear cut-resistant gloves. <br /> 2b. ENERGY SOURCE: 2b. Use caution when using hand auger and digging bar. Loosen <br /> Subsurface electrical lines. small amount of soil at a time. Do not drive bar into ground. <br /> High pressure gas or water Use fiberglass bar if known electrical lines are in the vicinity. <br /> lines <br /> 2c.
