PARTNER <br /> Engineering and Science,Inc. <br /> February 21, 2017 <br /> Subject: Addendum to Sampling and Analysis Workplan <br /> Well Construction Details <br /> Tracy Corners Shopping Center <br /> 3225 North Tracy Boulevard <br /> Tracy, California 95376 <br /> Partner Project Number SM14-129814 <br /> Soil Vapor Probes <br /> Borings will be advanced with a 2.25"diameter direct push drill tube to a nominal terminal depth of 5 feet <br /> below ground surface(bgs). A soil vapor probe screened at 5 feet bgs, consisting of new 1/4-inch diameter <br /> Nylaflow tubing with a weighted 6-inch long stainless steel vapor implant at the terminal end, will be <br /> constructed in the boring. Upon reaching terminal depth, a soil vapor probe will be constructed as follows <br /> (from the bottom upwards): 18 inches of sand pack surrounding the vapor implant, and 1 foot of dry <br /> transition granular bentonite. The remainder of the boring annulus will be backfilled with neat cement to <br /> approximately 1 foot bgs to form a seal. The probe will be fitted with a valve on the sampling end of the <br /> tubing and labeled for identification. An 8-inch diameter,flush mounted,traffic-rated vault will be installed <br /> at the ground surface with a concrete pad to house the soil gas probes for use in future sampling events. <br /> Soil Borings <br /> Borings will be advanced with a 2.25"diameter direct push drill tube to a nominal terminal depth of 8 feet <br /> bgs. Upon completion of sampling, the boring will be backfilled with neat cement to the ground surface <br /> and capped with a concrete or asphalt patch at the surface. <br />
