MW-3 will be installed approximately 150 feet north-northeast of the Quality Cleaners in the
general area of Partner's May 2015 groundwater sample from boring B6-GW. This well is intended
to be a downgradient groundwater monitoring well.
MW-4 will be installed approximately 160 feet north of the Quality Cleaners in the general area
of Partner's May 2015 groundwater sample from boring B7-GW. This well is intended to be a
downgradient/cross gradient groundwater monitoring well.
MW-5 will be installed approximately 180 feet northeast of the Quality Cleaners in the general
area of Partner's May 2015 groundwater sample from boring 138-GW. This well is intended to be
a downgradient groundwater monitoring well.
The ground water monitoring wells will be permanently installed and secured with a well box for
future sampling events. Well destruction methods will be provided in an additional work plan
upon completion of onsite activities.
6.6.1 Proposed Groundwater Sampling Methodology
Groundwater samples will be collected from the wells in approximately 48 hours following well
development. Prior to collecting groundwater samples, The wells will be purged using a reduced-
flow technique and groundwater samples collected once the groundwater purge parameters have
stabilized. A minimum of one tubing and pump volume will be removed from each well before a
sample is collected.
The groundwater samples will be contained in 40-ml laboratory-grade VOA vials preserved with
hydrochloric acid(HCL). Groundwater samples collected for analysis of TPH-d and TPH-mo will
be contained in one-liter amber glass containers if required by the laboratory. Laboratory QA/QC
will be performed commensurate with US EPA Level II QA/QC procedures as noted in the QA-
QC Plan presented in Appendix A.
6.6.2 Proposed Groundwater Sample Analysis
Groundwater samples collected from the monitoring wells will be submitted for analysis of TPH in
accordance with EPA Method 8015 using a laboratory-obtained standard for DP-2000 and for VOCs
in accordance with EPA Method 8260.
6.7 Proposed Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Program
The proposed groundwater monitoring wells will be sampled for four consecutive quarters beginning
with the initial monitoring event that will occur following the installation of the monitoring wells.
Sampling and Analysis Workplan
Tracy Corners Shopping Center
3225 North Tracy Boulevard
Tracy,California 95376
Partner Project Number SM14-129814
Docket Number HAS-VCA 14/15-108
August 15,2016
Page 27
