Berger<tberger@bskassociates.com>
Subject: RE:Test Well Radius of Influence Letter, North Manteca Trunk Sewer Project
Tim—
I discussed this with my management, and we don't believe there to be any issues with the pump test as related to the
petroleum plume of Frank's One Stop. The test is limited in duration(max of 18 hours),the test well is approximately
1500 feet from the nearest Frank's monitoring wells, and all of the Frank's monitoring wells on the northwest edge of
the plume(well groups MW-37/38/39, MW-34/35/36,and MW-31/32/33/40,were all non-detect for TPHg, BTEX, MTBE,
fuel oxys, and lead scavengers both of the times they were sampled, in March and June 2015. The last groundwater
sampling event at the Frank's Site was performed in 12 domestic water supply wells within the plume area in March and
June 2017,and the only analyte reported above the reporting limit was 8.8 ug/L MTBE in one well. The MW-37/38/39
well group is located approximately 175 feet northwest of the domestic well which contained 8.8 ug/L MTBE.
1
