MAIN STREET, STOCKTON, SAN JOAQUIN <br /> COUNTY, CASE #392006 <br /> On 9 May 2019, Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (Central Valley <br /> Water Board) staff met with Mr. Wade Melton, environmental project manager for <br /> Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO), and Mr. Bryan Taylor of Antea Group, ARCO's <br /> environmental consultant. During this meeting, Mr. Melton indicated ARCO's willingness <br /> to move forward and conduct the environmental investigation at the Buggy Bath Car <br /> Wash at 2085 E. Main Street in Stockton (Site). <br /> On 23 May, Central Valley Water Board staff had a conference call with the following: <br /> • ARCO's Mr. Melton and Antea's Mr. Taylor; <br /> • Mr. Kevin Reilly, the property owner's son and representative; <br /> • Mr. Michael Steel, counsel for Mr. Reilly; and <br /> • Mr. Doug Reinhart, in-house counsel for ARCO. <br /> During this call, Mr. Reilly indicated he would grant ARCO property access, and <br /> indicated that Mr. Steel and Mr. Reinhart were currently working on an access <br /> agreement. <br /> In the 9 and 23 April 2019 meeting and call, Mr. Melton and Mr. Taylor proposed several <br /> borings on the Site property, and the possibility of completing these borings as <br /> monitoring wells, and two monitoring wells off-Site, downgradient to the east of the Site, <br /> in order to provide initial assessment of soil and groundwater in relation to the Site <br /> property. <br /> KARL E.
