Limited Site Investigation � Terracon Vacant Property I Tracy, California May 26, 2023 1 Terracon Project No. NA197074B 3.0 Field Investigation Terracon's field activities were conducted on June 3, 7 and 8, 2021, under oversight by a California-licensed Professional Geologist (P.G.) with Terracon. A site-specific health and safety plan was followed by Terracon during field activities for all phases of this investigation. 3.1 Pre-Mobilization Activities Terracon has a commitment to the safety of all its IT, 11P' employees. As such, and in accordance with our Incident Incident and Injury-Free and Injury Free® safety culture, Terracon developed a safety plan to be used by our personnel during field services. Prior to commencement of on-site activities, Terracon held a meeting to review health and safety needs for this specific project. Fieldwork was performed in an U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Level D work uniform consisting of hard hats, safety glasses, protective gloves, and steel-toed boots. Pre-mobilization activities included the submission of a USA North 811 utility ticket, boring permit and Work Plan approval from the San Joaquin County - Environmental Health Department (SJC-EHD), and creation of a site-specific health and safety plan. On May 13, 2021, the soil borings were marked prior to mobilizing to the site and USA North 811 was contacted more than 72 hours prior to drilling activities by Terracon personnel for clearance of public utilities. Additionally, both Crimson Pipeline and PG&E staff met onsite to clear all proposed boring locations near the utility easement prior to the start of work. 3.2 Geophysical Survey A geophysical survey was conducted on June 3, 2021, by Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, LLC, overseen by Terracon, to assess for the potential presence or absence of buried utilities in the vicinity of the proposed soil boring locations. The geophysical survey utilized ground-penetrating radar (GPR), terrain conductivity (TC), electromagnetic (EM), and metal detector (MD) survey methods. The proposed sampling locations were adjusted in the field based on indications of utilities present in the subsurface. Changes to the proposed sampling locations was not considered significant. 3.3 Soil Borings and Soil Sampling Terracon mobilized on June 3, 7 and 8, 2021, to oversee the drilling by Penecore Drilling, Inc. of Woodland California for soil borings SB17 through SB26.
