(Terracon) has prepared this Work Plan to conduct additional Site <br /> Investigation activities at the above-referenced site on behalf of Sandhu Brothers Farms. A <br /> description of the project, scope of the LSI, and schedule are provided in the following sections. <br /> 1.0 PROJECT INFORMATION <br /> 1.1 Site Setting <br /> The site is located at 23577 S. Mountain House Parkway, Tracy, San Joaquin County, California <br /> (Assessor Parcel Number[APNs] 209-080-26) and consists of an approximately 135-acre tract of <br /> vacant land. Exhibit 1 — Topographic Map depicts the parcel boundaries and the location of <br /> pipelines right-of-way's through the property. A former Chevron pipeline (currently owned by <br /> Crimson California Pipeline) and two PG&E natural gas pipelines run through the southwestern <br /> corner of the property within a 50-foot-wide easement from northwest to southeast. Exhibit 2 — <br /> Site Diagram depicts the current land use. <br /> 1.2 Site History <br /> In the southwest corner of the parcel, on December 4, 2003, a farmer ruptured the Chevron crude- <br /> oil pipeline with a farming equipment which resulted in an oil spill at the property estimated by <br /> Chevron to be 31,500 gallons.An estimated 16,800 gallons of oil was cleaned up by the excavation <br /> of the impacted soil and vacuuming free-product.
