Ms.Amber Ginorio,RWQCB January 30,2023 Addendum to Sampling and Analysis Plan 2478 Wilcox Road,Stockton,California Page 5 • If a grab groundwater sample cannot be obtained from boring SB-6, an additional groundwater monitoring well (MW-4) will be drilled and installed at the alternate location as shown on Figure 2. • Following installation of wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3, the monitoring wells and other site features will be surveyed by a California-licensed land surveyor. • Develop and sample monitoring wells MW-I, MW-2, and MW-3. For clarity and descriptive purposes, the proposed scope of work has been subdivided into four tasks, as outlined below. Task 1: Pre-field Activities Following approval of this Addendum by the RWQCB, the following activities will be completed: • Update the site-specific Health and Safety Plan. • Update drilling permits from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD). • Confirm drilling schedule with a C-57-licensed drilling company. • Mark boring locations and contact Underground Service Alert to locate underground utilities in the vicinity of the work site. • Oversee an independent geophysicist (J R Associates) to conduct a utility survey around the proposed boring locations to identify possible subgrade utilities. • Notify the RWQCB, SJCEHD, Mr. Robert Hrabe, and Mr. Wiley Chandler of the proposed work schedule. Task 2: Field Activities Task 2A: Utility Clearance The initial five feet of all borings will be cleared using an air knife to reduce the possibility of damaging underground utilities. Drill cuttings will be containerized and stored in DOT- approved 55-gallon steel drums, and stored on-site pending proper disposal. Boring locations may be modified in the field if subgrade utilities are encountered during air knifing activities.
