C ,� HSP-n <br /> /1� Infectious Disease Response and Preparedness Plan <br /> ""°'"""'"° July 25, 2022 <br /> (D)The requirements in subsections(c)(10)(A) and(c)(10)(B) apply regardless of whether <br /> an employee has previously been excluded or other precautions were taken in response to <br /> an employee's close contact or membership in an exposed group. <br /> (E) If an order to isolate, quarantine, or exclude an employee is issued by a local or state <br /> health official, the employee shall not return to work until the period of isolation or <br /> quarantine is completed or the order is lifted. If no period was specified, then the period <br /> shall be in accordance with the return to work periods in subsection(c)(10). <br /> (F) If no violations of local or state health officer orders for isolation, quarantine, or <br /> exclusion would result,the Division may,upon request, allow employees to return to work <br /> on the basis that the removal of an employee would create undue risk to a community's <br /> health and safety. In such cases, the employer shall develop, implement, and maintain <br /> effective control measures to prevent transmission in the workplace including providing <br /> isolation for the employee at the workplace and, if isolation is not feasible, the use of <br /> respirators in the workplace. <br /> Note: Authority cited: Section 142.3, Labor Code.
