Tank Abandonment Site Assessment Work Plan <br /> NuStar Stockton Terminal <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> Page Three <br /> Method 8260B for Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's)and for total lead by method 7421 in <br /> accordance with the procedures outlined in Table 2"Recommended Minimum Verification Analyses <br /> For Underground Storage Tank Investigations." <br /> COMPLETION <br /> After the soil and groundwater samples have been collected, and all retrievable equipment has been <br /> removed from the sampling locations, the boreholes will be backfilled with neat cement from total <br /> depth to near surface. The surface will be patched to match the surrounding surface. <br /> DISPOSAL <br /> Any drill cuttings or waste material generated during the assessment will be temporarily stored on site <br /> in 55-gallon DOT-approved steel drums pending characterization. Minimal drilling waste is <br /> anticipated to be created during the site assessment sampling. Drums will be labeled with the site <br /> name and address, generation date, and type and source of the material it contains. Within 30 days of <br /> the generation date, any drummed soil and water will be transported to an appropriate facility for <br /> disposal. <br /> REPORTING <br /> Upon completion of field activities, a report documenting the investigative work will be submitted. <br /> The report will include a detailed description of the field activities, a summary of the analytical data, <br /> analytical reports with QA/QC documentation, and investigation findings and conclusions. <br /> Any disposal documentation will be submitted under separate cover. <br /> Please feel free to contact me should you have any additional questions or comments.
