The
objecfive of this investigation is to define the lateral arW vertical extent of dissolved
petroleum hydrocarbons and methyl-wrtimst butyl ether (MiDbJ in groundwater between
monitoring wells MW-3 and MW-5, and dow gradievt of monitoring will MW-5 wall
MW-6 (Figure 1). The results of this investigation will be used to determine the
plmement of additional shallow and deep groundwater monitoring wells.
PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK
IT proposes to conduct this investigation using co"penetrometer (CPC) testing
Nuipment m define the stratigraphy and Hydropmch equivalent groundwater
ampling system to collect discrete groundwater samples. The CPT will be mad to
def a the site suretigmphy downgra ient and cross-gradient of the site, aM to identify
higher permeability zones that may be preferential pathway to contamiriaze migration. A
Hydropmchieu-type groundwater sampler will then be used to collect discrete
gromdwatm samples from these higher permeability zones for analytical testing.
rvvea.+erne®Wuvaw.wsi.muAkusriaummammwme:L [mmMlwn
