Training shall cover, but not limited to, all of the following: (A) Immediate notification <br /> contacts to the appropriate local emergency response personnel and to the unified program agency. (B) Procedures <br /> for the mitigation of a release or threatened release to minimize any potential harm or damage to persons, property, or <br /> the environment. (C) Evacuation plans and procedures, including immediate notice,for the business site. These <br /> training programs may take into consideration the position of each employee. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately prepare or update the facility's training program, log into the California <br /> Environmental Reporting System (CERS)at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, upload the correct or updated information, and <br /> submit to the EHD for approval. <br /> This is a repeat violation (Class 2) Violation. <br /> 14 CA Health and Safety Code 25505(a)(4) 1020002-Provided initial and annual training and maintained training records <br /> for a minimum of three years. <br /> OBSERVATION:The most recent training records observed onsite were from 2021. No training records were on site for <br /> 2022, 2023, or 2024. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business plan shall include provisions for ensuring that appropriate personnel receive <br /> initial and annual refresher training.All employees shall be trained in safety procedures in the event of a release or <br /> threatened release of a hazardous material, including, but not limited to,familiarity with the following plans and <br /> procedures: (A) Immediate notification contacts to the appropriate local emergency response personnel and to the <br /> unified program agency. (B) Procedures for the mitigation of a release or threatened release to minimize any potential <br /> harm or damage to persons, property, or the environment. (C)Evacuation plans and procedures, including immediate <br /> notice,for the business site.
