INTRODUCTION <br /> AdvancedGeo, Inc. (AGI) has prepared this Well Destruction Work Plan (Work Plan) for <br /> the destruction of twelve (12) groundwater monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-12), <br /> thirteen ozone sparging wells (0-1 through 0-13), two (2) vapor extraction wells (SV-1 <br /> and SV-2) and two (2) soil-vapor sampling wells at 1601 Turnpike Road, Stockton, <br /> California (site). The site and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1. Structures, <br /> soil borings and well locations are illustrated in Figure 2. <br /> This Work Plan provides procedures for the destruction and abandonment of existing <br /> groundwater monitoring and remediation wells at the site. All site wells will be destroyed <br /> utilizing over-drilling methods. All well destructions will be performed in accordance with <br /> San Joaquin County Well Standards (February 2005). <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> As required, a health and safety plan will be prepared in accordance with Occupational <br /> Safety and Health Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities (National <br /> Institute for Occupational Safety and Health Administration, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. <br /> Environmental Protection Agency, 1985). Prior to drilling activities, each proposed drilling <br /> location will be clearly marked, and utility clearance obtained through Underground <br /> Service Alert.
