The
existing OSCF funding grant for this case expires on 1 February 2024 and a grant
amendment is needed to continue funding this case. The anticipated work timeframe to
be covered by such an amendment is three years. On 6 December 2023, staff from
OSCF, RMD Environmental Solutions (RMD), and Central Valley Water Board met with
you to discuss the path forward and determine the scope of work to be funded in the
grant amendment. This group shall be referred to in this letter as the Joint Execution
Team (JET). On 11 December 2023, OSCF and Central Valley Water Board staff had a
follow-up meeting to discuss the outcome of the previous meeting with senior OSCF
staff who were unable to attend the previous meeting.
During the 6 and 11 December 2023 meetings, the JET discussed and agreed upon the
following:
1. The JET agreed that you will continue to perform semi-annual groundwater
sampling during 2nd and 4th calendar quarters, with reports due by the first day of
the second month following the end of each semi-annual period (i.e. 1 July and
1 February). The following wells should be inspected, gauged, and sampled
during each semi-annual event:
a. Monitoring Wells:
i. MW-1 through MW-7
ii. OBS-1
iii.
