As required by the laboratory, the sample was collected in a plastic container and three
glass vials for nitrate and DBCP analysis, respectively. The sample was placed on ice
and transported under chain of custody to FGL Environmental, Stockton.
Nitrate was detected in the water sample at a concentration of 6.1 mg/L-N, below the
MCL of 10 mg/L-N. DBCP was detected in the sample at a concentration of 0.07 µg/L,
below the MCL of 0.2 µg/L but over the MCLG of zero. The laboratory analytical results
are attached as Appendix 5 of this report.
Soil Profile and Geologic Information
The Site is depicted on the Preliminary geologic map of the Lodi 30' x 60' quadrangle,
California (Dawson, 2009) as within a map unit of the Modesto formation upper
member, consisting of undivided alluvium (Plate 11).
The surface and near surface soils located at the Site are reported by the USDA Web
Soil Survey to be composed of Acampo sandy loam and Tokay fine sandy loam (USDA,
2026) (Plate 12). The table below presents some selected properties of these soil
types:
Table 1. See description of the map unit for
composition and behavior characteristics of the map unit.
Soil Borings
On February 2, 2026, Live Oak excavated a shallow soil boring on the Site for the
purpose of percolation testing. The boring was four inches in diameter, 2.01 feet deep,
and was excavated by hand auger. The location of the boring is indicated on Plate 13.
LOGE 2605 Page 5
