Before shipping, pack sample containers to prevent breakage during shipment (use bubble <br />wrap, or sample holders provided to the facility by the laboratory) Place ice or frozen ice <br />packs into the shipping container (preferably an ice chest). The sample containers must <br />remain cold during shipping. <br />16. Upon shipping or delivering the sample containers, obtain both the signatures of the <br />persons relinquishing and receiving the sample containers, and the photocopy of the <br />completed chain of custody to be filed at the administrative office of the San Joaquin <br />County North County Landfill. <br />
