SUMMARY <br /> <br /> <br />The Program described herein which includes an assigned load checker, vehicle logging, removal of <br />hazardous waste by a licensed hazardous waste hauler and installation of a chemical storage locker <br />on-site has already been implemented. Site personnel are currently trained to identify and segregate <br />prohibited waste for removal. <br /> <br />Results of the Program to date indicate that minimal amounts of regulated hazardous waste are being <br />brought to the site. This is probably due to signs posted at the site and public notices for site <br />information, (see Exhibit 3,) which indicate types of waste not accepted. Also, the implementation of <br />the Hazardous Waste Exclusion Program has increased the awareness of users of the site to legal <br />restrictions on prohibited waste and has also discouraged attempts at illegal disposal by charging <br />expensive disposal fees to the offenders. <br /> <br />
