Environmental Health Department <br />Telephone: () - Owner/Operator: CEDAR SQUARE OWNERS POOL <br />Inspection Type: Routine <br />Address: 1414 PAJARO AVE, MANTECA 95336 <br />Date: 06/05/2025Name of Facility:CEDAR SQUARE COA <br />Reinspection on or after: <br />Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br />Program Element: 3611 - PUBLIC POOL/SPA - PRIMARY <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code section(s) 116043, 116040, & <br />116050. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public <br />health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> #2 Pool Enclosure <br />OBSERVATIONS: I observe a gap more than 4 inch, at the lower edge of fence on the left side and right side of equipment <br />room. Repair the fence so that holes, gaps, or openings in the enclosure shall not allow the passage of a 4-inch diameter <br />sphere. Correct today. Repeated violation. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool area shall be enclosed by one or more of the following: a fence, portion of a building, wall, or other <br />approved durable enclosure. Pool enclosure shall be constructed over a hard permanent material equivalent to concrete and shall be <br />installed no more than 2 inches above the finished grade. Holes, gaps, or openings in the enclosure shall not allow the passage of a <br />4-inch diameter sphere. Doors, openable windows, or gates of living quarters shall not be permitted as part of the pool enclosure. <br />(CBC 3119B) Pool operator shall keep the pool enclosure well maintained. (CCR 65535) Pool enclosure shall have a minimum <br />effective perpendicular height of 5 feet and shall be constructed so that it cannot be climbed by small children. Horizontal members <br />shall be spaced at least 48 inches apart. No planters or other climbable structures shall be permitted within 5 feet of the pool <br />enclosure or within a 5-foot arc. Chain link openings shall not be larger than 1 3/4 inches when measured horizontally. Pool <br />enclosures with a height of 4 or more feet are allowed if the enclosure was constructed prior to July 1994. (CBC 3119B) <br />This is (Minor - Food) Violation. <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br />OBSERVATIONS: Life ring throw rope is not getting to the minimum of the maximum width of the pool. Provide throw rope with <br />sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool . Correct today. Corrected later in the day. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br />minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br />rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br />(CCR 65540) <br />This is (Minor - Food) Violation. <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: One of the skimmers is lacking weir gate. Install weir gate today. Corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall <br />be maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
