Equipment Decontamination & Waste Many e <br /> Non-dedicated sampling equipment will be decontaminated prior to use, and following <br /> sampling by: 1) washing with trisodium phosphate (Alconox) solution, with an exterior <br /> rinse; 2) rinsing the interior and exterior of the sample equipment with tap water; 3) <br /> followed by an internal and external deionized water(DI) wash. All soil generated during <br /> sampling will be stored on-site in an area generally lacking public access. Disposal <br /> alternatives will be evaluated based on the results of soil analysis. <br /> Borehole Abatement <br /> All borings will be abandoned by filling the annulus with a neat cement slurry to <br /> approximately 5 inches below grade and finished with matching surface material (asphalt, <br /> concrete, or native material). All work will be done in accordance with San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance, California State Department of Water Resources Bulletin 74-81, 74-90, and <br /> subsequent bulletins, and the conditions of the Permit Application, including any <br /> conditions which may be added or changed by SJCEMD upon review of the Application <br /> and issuance of the Permit. <br /> 4.1.3 Chemical Analysis <br /> Soil samples will be analyzed for Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as diesel (TPH-d) full <br /> list by EPA Method 8015M, Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g) by EPA <br /> Method GUMS, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) including the gasoline <br /> constituents benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX)by EPA Method 8260B. <br /> 4.1.4 Technical Report <br /> Following completion of the tasks listed above,receipt of chemical analysis results, and <br /> data interpretation; a report of findings will be prepared.
