Each waste stream needs a
complete hazardous waste determination prior to treatment. This would include mop water, cutter
fluids, etc as individual waste streams.
In this case, it is my understanding that the facility adds used oils/oils mixed with water are added to the
treatment system which is why the permit is needed.
That is the activity that goes on in the other treated site in Modesto.
Please let me know if this clears things up.
Respectfully,
John Alaniz
From:Andrew Guglielmo<aguglielmo@keramida.com>
Sent: Monday,April 13, 2026 3:56 PM
To:Alaniz,John [EHD] <ia Ian izl@sigov.org>; Sammons, Lynsey [EHD] <Isammons@sigov.org>
Cc:Suszycki, Michael [EHD] <msuszycki@sigov.org>; Craig Feaga <cfeaga@lamartoolanddie.com>; Brian Kolsters
<bkolsters@ lama rtoolanddie.com>; Nick Snoreen <nsnoreen@lamartoolanddie.com>; Robert Jackson
<riackson@lamartoolanddie.com>; Donald Ning<dning@keramida.com>
Subject: Re: PR0522736-4101 Arch Rd. - PBR
Good afternoon,
Attached is the Return to Compliance Certification and Corrective Action Statement for the Permit by Rule
violations from the January 28, 2026 inspection by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department.
3
