FN Appendix 8—Subject Properties and Adjacent Sites Summaries
Port of Stockton, Stockton, CA
2041 NAVY DRIVE, LIKA CORPORATION
The potential contaminants of concern at 2041 Navy Drive are copper, lead, and organic
(tetraethyl) lead. The potential media affected are soil and groundwater. Hazardous chemicals
were used at this site in the manufacturing of circuit boards, which likely led to the
contamination. Following a 1986 investigation, several localized areas of contamination were
identified, and soil was excavated to below the health based cleanup levels for lead and copper.
Excavated soil was stabilized onsite, removed, and disposed offsite in an appropriate landfill.
On August 21 st, 1995, the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) certified closure of
the LIKA corporation site. The historical release of lead and copper to soil and groundwater at
this site represents an HREC for the Site.
Site Moss Track -APN: 16330001
1815 NAVY DRIVE, SILGAN CONTAINERS CORP
Limited records on the GeoTracker database show the potential contaminants of concern for
1815 Navy Drive as chlorinated hydrocarbons, and the potential medium of concern as
groundwater. On March 23rd, 2004, a No Further Action letter was issued for this site. The
historical release of chlorinated hydrocarbons at this address may represent an HREC for the
Site.
Moss Tract—APN: 14502013 and 14502009, and Rough and Ready Island APN 16203007
BRIDGE CROSSING SAN JOAQUIN RIVER
The bridge crossing the San Joaquin River between the Moss Tract and Rough and Ready
Island was observed to be coated in silver paint during site reconnaissance, which may contain
lead and chromium. The potential presence of lead and/or-chromium based paint represents a
REC to the Site.
