MONTHLY SAFETY INSPECTION <br /> - ---- ------------------ --_------------------ <br /> I ASH Probe Calibration. s <br /> Probes must be calibrated once per month to ensure proper operation. PH range should be 6.0-11.0 <br /> Supplies needed: <br /> 1. pH buffer solutions 4,7, &10. <br /> 2. Clean containers for each buffer solution. <br /> 3. DI Water bottle and Kim wipes. I <br /> 4. Temperature probe. <br /> I Procedure: 1 <br /> 1) Fill containers with 150 ml of each buffer solution. Make sure at[containers are clean and free of any solution or contaminants. <br /> 12) Disconnect the pumps that dispense sodium hydroxide and sulfuric acid to prevent them from turning on while performing calibration. <br /> 13) Remove pH probe from tank and clean using a clean rag.Carefully rinse with DI water and use kimwipes to clean the tip of the probe. I <br /> 4) Place probe in pH buffer solution and measure the temperature of solution. Check the Neutralization Panel for the probe being calibrated and <br /> 1 follow the procedure below if you need to make any adjustments: 1 <br /> a) To enter the Adjustment menu,you must press ENTER and hold it for 5 seconds. <br /> I b) You will be prompted to enter a password to access the calibration menu. Enter(rm r )and scroll to the desired parameter that needs to be I <br /> I adjusted. <br /> c) After the desired values have been adjusted press ENTER to save changes.
