No lid was visible. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and storage, <br /> except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately provide a lid or seal for the oil pan and ensure all hazardous waste containers are <br /> closed when not actively adding or removing waste. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation <br /> to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a (Minor)Violation. <br /> 54 22 CCR 12 66262.16(b)(6)(C) 3030034-Tests and maintains all required safety equipment at the facility <br /> OBSERVATION: A large, black hazardous waste secondary container has noticeable amounts of waste oil accumulating. <br /> The container is around 40% filled. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All facility spill control equipment shall be maintained as necessary to assure its proper <br /> operation in time of emergency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the container into proper working order by removing the liquid in the secondary <br /> containment and placing in a proper waste container. When a spill is first noticed in the secondary container, ensure <br /> liquid is removed before continued use. Provide a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a (Class 2)Violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting paperwork, <br /> by May 3, 2026. To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the <br /> report instead of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at the EHD <br /> hourly rate ($179). To schedule an appointment, please call (209) 468-3420. <br /> The following was observed during this inspection: <br /> - Secondary containment for 2, 55 gallon drums are about 40% full of oil. <br /> - A white, hazardous waste oil pan is not labelled and was open at the time of inspection.
