Compostable Materials Handling Operation and Facility Inspection <br /> Report (93) <br /> Central Valley Compost (39-AA-0051) <br /> 4/15/2026 <br /> NOTES: <br /> 1. Track out was moderate. <br /> 2. Fly bait stations observed throughout the facility; additional traps were added to the <br /> perimeter of the facility. No fly issues observed. <br /> 3. Fire lanes were clear. <br /> 4. Records received by email. Records include tonnage, vehicle count, special occurrence, <br /> sampling results and temperature logs. <br /> 5. Litter was not observed on neighboring properties. Litter on site was moderate, especially <br /> near the fence lines of the south and north ponds. The ditches were clear of litter. <br /> 6. The following temperatures were measured during the inspection: <br /> - Raw green waste was 158°F. <br /> - Ground green waste was 138°F <br /> - Windrows ranged from 142°F to 146°F <br /> - Finished compost was 158°F <br /> - Finished product was 148°F <br /> - Biosoil was 110°F <br /> - Overs ranged from 108°F to 178°F <br /> 7. The weather during the inspection was partly cloudy and the temperature was 70°F with an <br /> eastern wind of 6 mph. <br /> 8. Gravel is used for repairing depressions. A pile of gravel was observed on site. <br /> 9.
