Sammons, Lynsey [EHD]
From: Sammons, Lynsey [EHD]
Sent: Tuesday, June 2, 2026 1:20 PM
To: 'Sam Ly'; Daljit Sekhon
Subject: RE: Cers compliance
Thank you Sam, I'll go ahead and close out this violation. In the future, we recommend using a liner
inside the cardboard box just to ensure that any spilled material can't escape. If there ever is a spill, the
facilitywould be responsible for proper cleanup and disposal of a hazardous waste so especially during
transport, this could minimize that risk. Return to compliance is complete for the hazardous waste
inspection.
It looks like the only thing I haven't seen are employee training records for the HMBP inspection. Have
you sent that to me?As soon as I get that I can close out the last HMBP violation and you'll be completely
done with addressing all the 2024 violations.
Here are HMBP training requirements for your reference-
REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business plan shall include provisions for ensuring that appropriate
personnel receive initial and annual refresher training. All employees shall be trained in safety
procedures in the event of a release or threatened release of a hazardous material, including, but not
Limited to, familiarity with the following plans and procedures:
(A) Immediate notification contacts to the appropriate local emergency response personnel and to the
unified program agency.
(B) Procedures for the mitigation of a release or threatened release to minimize any potential harm or
damage to persons, property, or the environment.
(C) Evacuation plans and procedures, including immediate notice, for the business site.
This training shall be documented electronically or by hard copy and shall be made available for a
minimum of three years.
Thanks again!
Lynsey Sammons
Registered Environmental Health Specialist
Cell: (209) 616-3067
Office: (209)468-3420
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
1868 E.Hazelton Avenue,Stockton,CA.95205
www.sogov.org/ehd
S JOAQUI
- .- OU NTY—
Greatness grows Bert.
*Test notifications and test results should be sent to the general UST email: ust( siaou.org*
1
