The following is an itemized list of CP22 - HW SQG violations that have not been <br />addressed for Altamont Corridor Express Maintenance Facility as of March 31, 2026. <br />Open violations from May 22, 2025 inspection <br />Violation #53 - 3030030 - Maintains and operates the facility to minimize the possibility of <br />fire/explosion/release. <br />OBSERVATION: Staining was observed adjacent to the tracks at the train fueling area. When asked how small spills <br />are addressed, the facility Superintendent stated that the spills are allowed to enter the grates that drain to the oil <br />water separator. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br />possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br />waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately stop allowing spills to enter the drains that plumb to the oil/water separator. <br />Address spills and leaks immediately with appropriate cleanup measures. Manage the waste according to Title 22 <br />California Code of Regulations for hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation to the San <br />Joaquin County Environmental Health Department describing the storage and final disposition of the cleaned up waste. <br /> <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />¨ This violation will be corrected by (date): ¨ This violation was corrected <br />¨ Supporting documents included <br />Page 5 of 5
