Please see my feedback below and
refer the attachments and the filter guidance I added all the way at the bottom of this message. Many of
these are just photos, please provide me with updated documentation by the end of next week, Friday
May 29tn
• Violation #2—Open.
o Please provide documentation verifying that you have received adequate HazWaste
training since you are leading the training for your employees.
• Violation #6—Closed
• Violation #8—Closed
• Violation #11 —Closed
• Violation #21 —Open.
o I attached some guidance for Haz Waste labeling(see page 1 regarding containers). Please
provide photos of your current labeling practices that include accumulation start dates for
ALL Haz Waste containers on site and a corrective action statement indicating how this
compliance issue will be prevented in the future.
• Violation #23—Open.
o Nothing submitted. I attached some labeling guidance for Haz Waste containers. Please
provide photos of your current labeling practices for ALL Haz Waste containers.
• Violation #24—Open.
o The photo you provided for violation #38 shows at least one container with a lid that is not
in good condition. Please ensure all Haz Waste storage containers on site are in good
condition, including lids, and provide photos of them.
• Violation #26—Open.
o Haz Waste containers need to be securely closed when not adding to or removing from
them. The photo you provided for violation #38 shows a filter uncontained and a drum not
securely closed. Drums with removable lids should have clamps and lids should be firmly
secured to prevent a spitUrelease if the drum is knocked over. The lid of the drum also has
an open bung hold. All lid openings need to be securely closed.
1
