The California Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (RWQCB)approved the destruction of the wells in their letter dated October 14,2016. <br /> Resubmittal of permit application package for APN 145-030-11 is due to a change of scope to the original <br /> permit WP0037547• Resubmittal of permit application package for APN 145-030-12 is due to a change of <br /> scope to the original permit AP0037548. The change in scope is to gain your approval for the remaining <br /> wells to be destroyed by pressure grout method. This is an acceptable and preferred method for the <br /> remaining wells due to limited access,the proximity of remaining wells to high pressure and other <br /> utilities,and because any previously contaminated areas near these wells have been remediated to <br /> RWQCB approved levels. The well destructions are for former groundwater remediation wells in areas <br /> with no reported vadose zone impacts. <br /> A check in the amount of$1,976.00 for permitting fees is enclosed. This payment covers the Work Plan <br /> Review for Other Lead Agency Oversight initial fee of$456.00 and two permit application initial <br /> maximum fee of$1,520.00($76o.00 per application,per parcel). <br /> Enclosed are the following documents for your reference: <br /> Permit Application Package—3003 Navy Drive,Stockton(APN 145-030-11) <br /> Permit Application Package—2700 W.Washington Street,Stockton(APN 145-030-12) <br /> CRWQCB October 14,2016 Letter Request to Remove Ozone Injection Systems <br /> Remediation Well Destruction Work Plan <br /> Figure 8—3Q17 TPHg Groundwater Isoconcentration Contour Map <br /> Boring Logs <br /> Health&Safety Plan <br /> Stantec will schedule the drilling activities when all appropriate permits are obtained.Due to ongoing <br /> Terminal expansion activities at the site,your expedited review and permit issuance is appreciated. <br />
