Geosyntec c consultants Geosyntec HS Procedures referenced herein are available on Geosyntec's H&S TASK HAZARD ANALYSIS (Ver.2,June 2015) SharePoint site and should be consulted,as appropriate,per project-specific needs.This THA prepared per HS-106-Accident Prevention Program,HS-204-Task Hazard Analysis,and meets the requirements for a"Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan"per Geosyntec HS Procedures and regulations referenced herein(see Section B.14.). PART A - SITE SAFETY PLAN A.1. PROJECT/TASK INFORMATION TASK: UST Data Gap Investigation Project Name: Port of Stockton,Rough and Ready Island Project Number/Org: WR2501.01 Project Address: Rough and Ready Island,Stockton,CA 95203 Description of Task& Geosyntec will conduct a soil investigation at 4 former Underground Storage Tank(UST)locations. Worksite: Penecore Drilling will drill 9 soil boring locations using direct push technology and perform concrete coring,as needed. Geosyntec will visually log the soil and collect 8 soil samples at 4 feet below ground surface Geosyntec will collect 1 grab groundwater sample at approximately 5 ft bgs. Penecore will install a temporary PVC well and will manipulate the peristaltic pump connected to either a portable power station or to their vehicle battery. Sample containers manipulated by Geosyntec may contain preservative such as methanol and Hydrochloric acid. Contaminants of concern are Naphthalene,Benzene,Toluene,Ethylbenzene,Xylenes,Total Petroluem Hydrocarbons(TPH)-diesel and TPH-gasoline.
