The following is an itemized list of CP22 - HW SQG violations that have not been <br /> addressed for MOUNTAIN HOUSE CHEVRON as of June 18, 2026. <br /> Open violations from June 16, 2025 inspection <br /> Violation#2-3020001 -Employees thoroughly familiar with all waste handling and emergency procedures. <br /> OBSERVATION: At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated (not necessarily documented)that <br /> employees who handle hazardous waste were properly trained. <br /> -Store Manager, Sunny Bhuttay was unaware of requirements for transporting and disposing of hazardous waste. <br /> Sunny stated that he took the hazardous waste generated on site including used absorbent, a dispenser hose, and a <br /> used fuel filter, out of the facility's hazardous waste drum, placed it in a bucket and drove it to Coleman Chevron at 510 <br /> New Haul Drive in San Jose for disposal. He stated that he did this because he was having a hard time finding a <br /> hazardous waste hauler to pick it up. He stated that there was no transport or disposal documentation for this <br /> hazardous waste. <br /> -Store Manager sunny was unaware of labeling requirements for hazardous waste containers. He stated he was <br /> unaware that the accumulation start date needed to be updated on the drum's hazardous waste label at the first <br /> addition of waste after each time the drum is emptied. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br /> waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br /> emergencies. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees. Provide proof of training within 30 days to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(EHD)for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous waste. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#17-3050001 -Registered hazardous waste transporter used to transport hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: This business transported waste without valid hazardous waste transporter registration.The <br /> hazardous waste consisted of used absorbent and a dispenser hose and was transported by Store Manager Sunny <br /> Bhuttay. The hazardous waste was transported to Coleman Chevron at 510 New Haul Drive in San Jose.The <br /> transporter could not provide valid hazardous waste transporter registration or manifest records during the inspection. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: California Health &Safety Code section 25163(a) <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately cease allowing transportation of hazardous waste by a transporter without valid <br /> hazardous waste registration issued by the California Department of Toxic Substances Control. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within <br /> 30 days. <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
