The EPA ID number for this facility has been inactive since 6/30/23. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for <br />transportation, hazardous waste without having received an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Identification (ID) <br />Number. A State EPA ID number is required for generators of less than 100 kg RCRA hazardous waste per Maintenance <br />of ID numbers must be annually verified by using the Electronic Verification month, less than one kg of acutely <br />hazardous waste per month or any amount of non-RCRA hazardous waste. ID numbers are unique to a business and <br />site location. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Go to the DTSC website at https://dtsc.ca.gov/apply-for-hazardous-waste-epa-id-number/ to <br />obtain or reactivate an EPA ID number. <br />This is a Repeat (Class 2) Violation. <br />25 22 CCR 12 66262.16(b)(4)(A), 66262.17(a)(5)(A) 3030007-Labeled all containers or portable tanks containing hazardous <br />waste <br />OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The containers were: A <br />black steel drum of fuel contaminated absorbent located behind the facility was observed with a faded, illegible label. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the words <br />“Hazardous Waste”, name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition (contents), <br />accumulation start date. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective action <br />statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) within 30 <br />days. <br />This is a Repeat (Class 2) Violation. <br />1868 E.
