Water tank venting pipe is required to terminate in downward direction and to be covered with 16 mesh per square inch screen or equivalent. Correct before operating. CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The potable water supply shall be protected with a backflow or back siphonage protection device, as required by applicable plumbing codes.
