Bos 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
Re: 1990 Second Quarter Report-Stephens Marine, 4950 West
Brookside Road, Stockton, CA.
Dear Greg:
This letter report updates the activities at Stephens Marine
during the second quarter of 1990. Activities during the quarter
have included sampling for dissolved hydrocarbons and monitoring
of groundwater.
Groundwater monitoring conducted in April showed the water table
rose approximately one foot since September 1989 (Table 1 ) . The
monitoring was performed approximately one hour after high tide.
The groundwater contour map ( Figure 1 ) illustrates a
southeasterly gradient at an approximate magnitude of 0.01
ft./ft.
Groundwater samples were collected from the three wells on April
12, 1994, for analysis of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes
(BTEX) and total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline and diesel
(TPHG & TPHD), by EPA methods 8020/8015. The results reported
low levels of gasoline hydrocarbons in MW-1 and MW-S. Low levels
of TPHD were also reported in MW-2. The results are summarized in
Table 2 and the laboratory reports and chain-of-custody are
presented in Attachment 1.
1710 MAIN STREET ® ESCALON,CA 95320 A (209)838-3507
FRESNO,CA(209)222-3495 0 .
